The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree program is designed to prepare persons for the ministry of the church as pastors and in related fields, including chaplaincies, Christian education, and staff positions within denominations. The Master of Divinity degree is the basic professional degree for clergy.
Admissions Requirements To be eligible, individuals must have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university, and a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher. (Individuals applying for the fall 2010 class must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher).
Degree Requirements The Master of Divinity degree requires the completion of 78 credit hours classroom work with a C average or better.
